The Minnesota Flying Aces are proud to announce that Defender, Paul Sorensen, of Bismarck, ND has sighed a NAHL Tender, with the Michigan Warriors. Sorensen, who lead all NA3HL Defense in scoring during the regular season, will also represent the Aces in the NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament, held in Frisco, TX, during the NAHL Robertson Cup Championship. "Paul has been a solid D man, who logged a lot of ice for us this season," said Coach Larson. "This was a goal of his and a goal of our organization, to move players on or give them the opportunity, to progress to the next level and we wish him the best of luck, " added Larson. The North American 3 Hockey League (3HL) has announced the rosters for next month’s 2012 3HL Top Prospects Tournament, presented by Combat Hockey, which will be held from May 4-6 at the Dr Pepper StarCenter in Frisco, Texas. At the event, four teams representing each of the four 3HL Divisions- Central, East, North and West - will each play four games. Each team consists of a 20-man roster as chosen by the 3HL Top Prospects Tournament Selection Committee as nominated by the league’s 16 head coaches. The six players, from the Flying Aces are, Goalie Al Patten, Defender Paul Sorensen, Defender Cody Gauthier, Forwards Stephen Langford, Kyle Bonstrom and Liam Johnston. 2011-2012 Minnesota Flying Aces![]() To all our fans, supporters and sponsors, The 2011-2012 Minnesota Flying Aces Thank you! The Minnesota Flying Aces would like to congratulate the Little Falls boy’s high school hockey team. On March 1st, the Flyers clinched the section finals. Next stop: Xcel Energy Center. This is what hockey dreams are made of, folks. The first game of the tournament will be this Wednesday (March 7th) at 11:00am. The Flyers will take on a fierce opponent, St. Thomas Academy. Flying Aces Ink 1st 3HL Tender for the 2012-2013 season
The Minnesota Flying Aces have secured their 1st signing, for the 2012-2013 season, with the signing of forward Jared Sprink, of Mosinee WI. The 6 foot 165 pound forward, finished the season with 31 goals and 36 assists, for 67 points. |
